- ABSTRACT:
Possibility of positioning of output joint of the hydraulic drive by dosing fluid into working
chamber based on fluid elasticity and compressibility was considered. It is proposed to install an
additional valve in the pressure and / or drain lines to perform elastic-hydraulic dispenser, that
includes main direction valve and pipe inner volume. According to the results of simulation, the
limits of changes in the portions of fluid were determined, also as dependencies on the pressure,
load, pipe inner volume and properties of the fluid. A simplified hydraulic diagram with elastic fluid
dosage was developed.

- ABSTRACT:
Stretch blow molding process is the main method for the mass production of PET containers. In
the stretch blow molding process, the motion of the mold is provided by the machine's clamp. Since
the speed control of the pistons of clamp is difficult and its precision is poor, it can not be get the
product quickly during the production stage. In this study, the top plate of the clamp is designed to fit
the servo motor to provide the motion of the clamp. Then solid model analysis was performed and
manufacturing of top plate was accomplished. The clamp plate was placed and the servo motor was
mounted on the clamp. After the servo shaft had been assembled to the system, the roll bearing and
the cam were assembled to the system for the motion of the base of the mold. Finally, the sensors
were assembled to indicate the opening and closing points of the clamp. After this constructive
change, while the production rate of the double-mold was 900 bottles per hour at the beginning, it
was observed that 1042 bottles were produced by an increase of 15.8%. The problem of obstruction
was solved, moreover, the air and electricity was saved.

MODELING OF SCRUBBER FOR CLEANING INDUSTRIAL GASES

- ABSTRACT:
In this paper, a numerical simulation of a scrubber with a vortex plate is presented for the
purification of contaminated gases emitted to the atmosphere in industry. To simulate aerodynamics,
a solid-state scrubber model has been developed. The solid model of the scrubber is made in the form
of "assembly" and allows modeling both the whole apparatus and its individual elements. In the
scrubber model calculations, different materials can be used for each element (simple carbon steel,
alloy steels, ceramics, etc.). This allows you to optimize the production of the scrubber, depending on
the requirements of reliability, durability and cost. The simulation results allow selecting and
optimizing the design and technological parameters of the scrubber. The developed model can be
used as a separate unit in larger models of purification systems, which include several types of
scrubbers for various industries.

- ABSTRACT:
One of the methods of saving raw materials is related to the introduction of chemical-thermal
treatment methods into practice. These methods make it possible to change the phase composition on
the surface of the details, which leads to a significant improvement in their surface properties while
retaining a coarse core. At the same time, however, the behaviorof the formed diffusion layers in
working under extreme conditions has not been sufficiently studied. Boride coatings are known to
have high hardness and good wear resistance under normal operating conditions, but at present,
their resistance to high operating temperatures is not well studied. In the presented study with the
methods of the X-ray analysis is traceable behavior of boride coatings formed on powder-
metallurgical samples of the Fe-C-Cu system with a density of 6,60g/cm3 after isothermal
containment for 60min. at temperatures ranging from 700 to 1150°C. The results of X-ray analysis
are presented in the form of diagrams in which the interference maxima of phases and their
intensity are schematically shown.

- ABSTRACT:
The aim of this contribution is to present a new approach for residual stress evaluation in
materials with preferred orientation. In the beginning, an overview of X-ray diffraction
determination of macroscopic residual stresses in textured materials is outlined. Afterwards,
experimental results from three already established X-ray diffraction techniques and the new one
used for residual stresses determination of single-phase and dual-phase steels after cold-rolling are
presented. The discussion of the obtained stress values proves the validity of the new approach for
residual stresses determination in textured materials. The works are going on with further
verifications necessary for generalization of the proposed methodical approach.
