WEB-BASED REGISTRY FOR VIRTUAL ORGANIZATION IN GRID

  • TITLE: WEB-BASED REGISTRY FOR VIRTUAL ORGANIZATION IN GRID
  • AUTHOR(S): R. Hristova, G. Goranov, N. Stamboliyski
  • ABSTRACT: The virtual organizations in the European Grid Infrastructure (EGI) are managed by VOMS servers. It is extremely important VOMS certificates to be kept up-to-date on all grid services in the infrastructure. In this article we propose a web-based application which represent registry for the available virtual organizations and VOMS certificates. The application provides functionality for downloading, listing and verifying the certificate validity of the different VOMS server and their virtual organizations in the EGI.

SLOPE GENERATOR WITH COMPENSATION OF TECHNOLOGY AND TEMPERATURE VARIATION FOR CURRENT LOOP INTERFACES

  • TITLE: SLOPE GENERATOR WITH COMPENSATION OF TECHNOLOGY AND TEMPERATURE VARIATION FOR CURRENT LOOP INTERFACES
  • AUTHOR(S): S. Stefanov, A. Pergoot
  • ABSTRACT: The objective of this paper is to present a new biasing circuit for current slope generation. The main advantage is obtaining stable transition duration of the slopes (TDS) independent of the technology process and temperature variations. The circuit can be used in different interface applications where a precise slope control is needed. The design is performed in 0.18um TSMC BCD technology using CAD system CADENCE.

WINDMILL`S DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM–PART III: Diagnostic`s models and fault detection techniques

  • TITLE: WINDMILL`S DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM–PART III: Diagnostic`s models and fault detection techniques
  • AUTHOR(S): D. Koeva
  • ABSTRACT: Wind turbines are characterized by dynamically changing loading and spinning frequency, which inevitably leads to damage. Therefore, the system for control and monitoring must constantly keep track of the observed parameters. Combining this system with a system for diagnostics would significantly reduce the funds needed for maintenance as well as the idle time due to accidents, which is also unproductive time for the turbine. On the other hand, wind turbines are considered as complex systems, the performance of which is affected by various disturbing effects that are often difficult to be measured and determined. This is a major challenge for building a well-functioning automated system for control, monitoring and diagnostics
