  • ABSTRACT: The paper presents the results of a multiobjective optimization of the elastic abrasive cutting process conditions of rotating workpieces made of C45 steel. A generalized utility function has been chosen as an optimization parameter and has been used as a complex indicator of the technological, economic and dynamic elastic abrasive cutting process parameters. For its determination an adequate theoretical and experimental model has been built, reflecting the complex influence of the elastic abrasive cutting conditions. The solution of the optimization problem has been reduced to the determination of combinations of values of the compression force, the cut-off wheel diameter and the workpiece rotational frequency for which the generalized utility function has a maximum and which guarantee an optimum combination of the following: the cut-off wheel lifetime, the tangential cutting force magnitude, the temperature of the cut piece and the cut - off operation cost and production rate.

RESEARCH DRYING CURVE OF MEDICINAL HERBS

  • TITLE: RESEARCH DRYING CURVE OF MEDICINAL HERBS
  • AUTHOR(S): K. T. Norkulova, J. E. Safarov
  • ABSTRACT: Authors carry out the influence analysis of friction forces, joints contact rigidity and "clamping element-clamping object" and "clamping element-clamping chuck" subsystems’ rigidities proportion on the different clamping stages in the cases of non-rotating and rotating spindle, taking into account the centrifugal forces of unstable clamping elements. Recommendations on the improvement of clamping chucks power characteristics at high-speed treatment are given here.

  • ABSTRACT: This paper deals with the characteristic features of languages for special purposes, technical German in particular, from the point of view of foreign language teaching. Special attention is paid to terminology as the most distinctive feature of the languages for special purposes. The language is examined in certain types of texts relevant to the language of science and technology. Conclusions have been drawn with regard to the degree of abstractedness and specialization of the texts that are to be used in the course of foreign language teaching for special purposes.

  • ABSTRACT: Globalization and new information technologies have fundamentally altered the world we live. Although these processes have affected mostly the activities of business units, universities also has affected from this trend. The university as a closed academic community, impervious to modern trends and business problems remain somewhere far away in the past. Today modern universities rely on its global presence, seek innovative tools for geographic expansion and implement proven effective business approaches in the management of the academic institution. This study aims to systematize and summarize the key challenges associated with the use and management of modern information technologies in universities, in particular, the role and organizational interactions academic IT unit in the process. The analysis used: leading research on the issue, publicly available data on the subject, results of conducted international study "Challenges for IT Governance in universities" (31.10-30.11.2016), information from interviews and informal conversations with representatives of academic IT management, as well as personal experience of the author as IT manager of the the processes in the Tsenov Academy of Economic s in the period 2007-2015.
