  • ABSTRACT: This article presents the results from a multi-objective optimization of the geometric parameters of Maltese mechanism for transferring containers with fluid. The study is directed to minimization the spatter fluid during its transportation in open containers. Because of the specific of the research problem, a high-speed digital camera is used. To quantify the spatter effect a methodology for experimental data sys - tematization is developed. It is proved that S-shaped cannels of Maltese mechanism provide damping spatter. In order to formulate the optimization problem a planned experiment is conducted. On this basis, regression models for the objective functions are obtained. The optimization is carried out in accordance with a genetic algorithm. Thus, the optimal geometric parameters of the S-shaped cannels are established.

  • ABSTRACT: This article presents a Specialized Technological Software (Electronic Guide) for the users of a new hardening technology, implementing the “Spherical mandrelling” method. This method belongs to the methods for finishing mashining of holes through surface plastic deformation. The algorithm for conducting of the calculating procedure is based on: the results from planned experiment under production conditions and subsequent two-objective optimization of the process; finite-element study based on a generalized “pseudo” 2D model of the process. This model is developed on the basis of a combined theoretical and experimental approach in order to model the axial force and the rotating moment. The potential of the Specialized Technological Software is demonstrated by concrete examples.

  • ABSTRACT: Problem of knowledge convergence in tasks of creating complex technical systems is analyzed. Developing technical systems facilities to the category of genetically organized hypothesis is proposed. General methodological approach to modeling and synthesis of complex technical objects based on the synthesis and identification of their genetic programs is propose. At example of electromagnetic and mechanical systems concept of genetic engineering is proved and this strategy expansion prospects to other technical disciplines with horizontal transfer of knowledge is proposed. The accuracy of proposed genetic models and methods of interdisciplinary synthesis confirmed by results of evolutionary experiments.

  • ABSTRACT: A new methodology has been proposed for theoretical and experimental evaluation of the dynamic characteristics of new configurations of machine tools with working bodies, karouta spatial articulated rod system. Software "ToolsApp" has been developed with a native interface in order to implement the solution of a mathematical model. The latter defines numerical values of the damping coefficient of the system, and particularly the change in the dynamic characteristics of the machine under conditions of cyclic vibration loads.

  • ABSTRACT: Consider the use of mechatronic systems in the drive supply jetting equipment.It is shown that the creation of prestress due to such a drive in the cutting area significantly improves performance in jet cutting process to 25-35%.The optimum thickness of the blanks in which the use of pre-loading is energetically feasible.The dependence of the efficiency and the angle of the direction of the tangent to the stress created trajectory move ink jet head.
